Dr. Mian Daud has been a board certified family physician since 2001, and a board certified pediatrician since 1985. He graduated in 1971 from King Edward Medical College, a British school that is the second oldest medical school in Pakistan. He served in the Pakistan Army Medical Corp from 1971 to 1974 as a family practitioner. Dr. Daud did his residency in pediatrics at the Metropolitan Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Daud headed a Family Practice and Pediatrics office for 11years in Greenville, Kentucky along with Dr. Shahnaz Daud before moving to practice in North Carolina in 1991. He has been practicing here ever since, including working at the North Carolina State University Student Health Center. His special interests other than pediatrics, are in preventative care for hypertension and diabetes, as well as treating ADD/ADHD.

Dr. Shahnaz Daud (we just call her Dr. Shahnaz) is also a board certified family physician, and has been practicing for 40+ years. She did her Pre-Medical studies at Government College in Faisal Abad Pakistan from 1965 to 1967 and graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan in 1973. She graduated at the top of her class with the highest cores in OB/Gyn, Pathology, and Surgery. She did a straight OB/Gyn internship at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas, MI and did a one year fellowship in pathology with the Baltimore City Hospital, which is affiliated with John-Hopkins. She has been practicing in North Carolina since 1993, before that she and Dr. Mian Daud headed a Family Practice and OB/Gyn office in Greenville, Kentucky.
Dr. Shahnaz has a great afinity for learning and attends many meetings and lectures monthly, always keeping up with new treatments and medicines.She is very much looking forward to starting her new Piedmont Wellness and Weight Loss Clinic.
